Founded in September 1967, Ming Kei started with four S.1 classes. As our school building was not yet completed, classes were temporarily held on the campus of Ming Yin College. Mr. R.F. King from Ming Yin College concurrently served as the principal of Ming Kei.

本校創立於1967年9月，招收了四班中一新生。因當時校舍尚未落成，故借用銘賢書院校舍上課，並由銘賢書院校長京力士先生兼任本校校長。

Rev. J.S. Murray inaugurated the foundation ceremony at Oak Street, Tai Kok Tsui. The school had expanded to 8 classes.

穆理牧師於大角咀橡樹街現址主持本校奠基典禮。彼時本校已擴班至八班，至1969年1月29日，仍暫借銘賢書院校舍辦學。

The school moved to 16 Oak Street. Mr. J.K. Walls became the Founding Principal. Governor Sir David Trench officiated the inauguration on 29th March.

本校遷至大角咀橡樹街16號現址辦學，韋仲堅先生出任創校校長。同年3月29日，戴麟趾爵士總督親臨主禮新校舍揭幕典禮。

Our first S.5 cohort sat for the Certificate of Education Examination. The first graduation ceremony was held in December.

本校首屆中五學子應考香港中學會考，首屆畢業典禮於同年12月舉行。

Our first S7 cohort sat for the HKU Matriculation Exam. The school was fully developed as a standard English secondary school of 24 classes from S1 to S7.

本校首屆中七學子應考香港大學入學試，學校至此發展為一所標準英文中學，設中一至中七，共二十四班，辦學規模臻於完善。

Mr. J.K. Walls left to return to New Zealand. Mr. H.T. Chan succeeded him as the second principal.

Mr. J.K. Walls離任本校，返回紐西蘭故鄉。陳和通先生接任，成為本校第二任校長。

The campus in 1989 looked out upon an open Victoria Harbour.

Mr. H.T. Chan left the school after 15 years of service. Mr. Stephen C.Y. Hui succeeded him as the third principal of Ming Kei College.

陳和通先生執掌本校十五載後離任。許俊炎先生接任本校第三任校長。

The Alumni Association held a "30th Anniversary Reunion Day" on 22nd July. The school held its 30th Anniversary banquet on 21st November.

七月二十二日，校友會舉辦「銘基書院三十周年校慶重聚日」活動。本校亦於十一月二十一日設宴，共慶建校三十周年。

The harbour vista gradually receded as the city expanded. Yet the campus retained its signature sense of openness amid urban change.

城市拓疆，濱岸煥新，曾為地標之維港盛景漸隱於視野。幸而校園始終守持獨有的開闊氣韻。

The iconic bridge was replaced by the New Wing, housing two new computer rooms and additional classrooms.

校內標誌性天橋拆除，新翼教學大樓順勢落成。新翼增設兩間電腦教室及多間課室，以全新格局創造優質育人環境。

Mr. Stephen C.Y. Hui retired after 15 years. Dr. Annie K.C. Chan became the 4th principal and the first female principal of Ming Kei College.

許俊炎先生執掌本校十五載後榮休。陳潔貞博士接任本校第四任校長，亦為銘基書院首位女校長。

Teachers celebrate 40 years of dedication. A student art collection "Art Ignites Life" is published to mark the occasion.

本校舉辦40周年校慶宴，教師合影定格初心，共賀四秩榮光。另出版學生藝術作品集，以少年才情鐫刻校慶華章。

The 50th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service cum Celebration Ceremony was held on 10th March 2017.

本校隆重舉行建校五十周年感恩崇拜暨慶典儀式，回望五十載辦學征程，感恩各界關懷支持，傳承辦學初心。

Dr. Annie K.C. Chan served Ming Kei for ten years. She was succeeded by Dr. Eddy Y.C. Lee, who assumed office as the school's fifth principal, carrying the school's legacy forward and steering it into a new phase of development.

陳潔貞博士服務銘基十載；由李揚真博士接任，出任本校第五任校長，承前啟後，推動學校邁入新一階段的發展。

Dr. P.S. Cheung began her tenure as principal, upholding the school's legacy as its second female head.

張佩姍博士履新本校校長，作為本校第二位女校長，秉持校史傳承，恪守辦學理念，推動學校高品質發展。
