Rat (anterior arterial system)

In fact, the thymus gland belongs to the immune system and is well developed in young mammal. 

Research shows that it is used as a " training ground " for immature lymphocytes.

The aortic arch branches out from the left ventricle.

It has the largest diameter of all blood vessels in the body.

From it, 3 arteries branch off.

Below : 1 = left subclavian artery

2 = left common carotid artery

3 a = right common carotid artery

3b = right subclavian artery
