Outdoor education can never be replaced by multi-media gimmicks. 

Eco-tourism (生態旅遊) is a  pastime  of the post-industrial age,  because we need to know " where we are " in the world and " why we need to conserve ". Real life experience has a lot more to offer. Eco-tour should be part of the educational experience of any civilised inhabitants on mother earth.
