Basket composting (°ïªÎÄx°ïªÎªk)

Creating a composting basket next to vegetables in the field is
a convenient way of recycling nutrients from organic wastes.
As minerals are released slowly, they diffuse to the roots of neighbouring crops.
According to the book " GROWING ORGANIC " published by the KFBG,
a small cup of lime (¼ô¥Û¦Ç) may be added to the wastes
if it becomes too wet and insects breed.
Under natural conditions, earthworms may be attracted
to ingest and help breakdown the plant remains.
They are efficient soil detritivore(s).
